June Divine Design - The Free & The Brave

I have so enjoyed this stamp set, which we will be saying farewell to in a few days! Don't miss purchasing it and remember FREE shipping through June on all orders on-line or placed directly through Seasons Of Stamping. Contact me to place your order. At our June Divine Design class, we made a card to go along with this piece for our scripture collection. The scripture we used is Psalm 46:1,2, "God is our refuge and strength, therefore we will not fear". We will be using this scripture again in July as we make cards for "Operation Gratitude".

It's not too late to join us for our monthly Divine Design class as we create a project to bles
s someone with and one to put in to a scripture collection for ourselves. Check out my Events Calendar to the right for the next class and pay securely through Paypal at the above link.

Tip: The stars on the stamp are the same size as Stampin'Up!s Small Star punch. I love how Stampin'Up! takes the time to coordinate their products!! It makes creating fun and easy.

Here are the Stampin'Up! supplies you will need to complete this project.

He Is Risen!

When Peter and John went to the tomb, they found the burial strips in a pile and the linen cloth that had covered Jesus' head folded and placed seperate from the burial strips. It was the custom back then that if the master, having his meal, crumpled his napkin and laid it on the table it meant he was done. But, if the master folded his napkin and placed it on the table before he left it meant, leave his food, he was coming back. Jesus folded the head covering and laid it where his body had been, not crumpled with the burial clothes. He is coming back! Just as he has said throughout the New Testament. Jesus has always kept His promises. So, when will He come back? Probably a better question is what will we do until He comes back?

Happy Easter

First Divine Design Class: Good Morning Sunshine DSP

Oh!, I wish my photography did these pictures justice. Click on the picture to get a better view of it. Today was our first Divine Design class. We were a small group of 3 and 3 children, and had a wonderful time creating scripture cards. These two cards my friend, Dany, made for her daughters away at college. I know they will love them. The colors are beautiful and the scripture timeless, Jeremiah 29:11. Come join us the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 10:30am till we're done. An evening time is also available at 6:30pm if interest allows. If you would like to bring your own verse, let me know before the class and I'll have your scripture card ready. RSVP before each week's class.
Recipe:
Stamps: All Holidays, Always in My Thoughts
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Paper: Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss, Ivory card stock, and Good Morning Sunshine DSP.
Misc.: Button Bouquet, Earth Element brads, Ticket Corner Punch, Corner Rounder punch.
