Stampin'Up!s Baby Bundle has the Mojo

Stampin'Up!s Baby Bundle stamp set has it all. Use if for a baby shower invitation, a baby card, a baby announcement, or a thank you card. It's not only a great offer but it's adorable to boot!

Now pair that with the new Nursery Suite Specialty Paper and you will be creating some beautiful cards, crafts, and scrap book pages.

My sweet downline, Jessica, is about ready to pop so our team meeting today was centered around her. (We also had fun making scallop circle roses but I will save that for another post) I had forgotten how fun shopping for babies was! There was this little sleeper that I know had the same images as our retired Wild About You stamp set! It's funny how you begin to see your Stampin'Up stamp set images all over the place.

This card uses today's Mojo Monday sketch. It is a 5 1/2" square card using Pear Pizzazz, Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight, and Whisper White colors. The sentiment is not from the Baby Bundle set because somewhere I lost the "congratulations" stamp from the set. Bummer! This sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes punched out with the Small Oval punch and layered on a Large Oval punch.

I hope you enjoyed today's project! If you have any questions regarding this project don't hesitate to contact me, I'm happy to help! See the recipe below for a complete supply list and contact me if you would like to place an order or order on-line at my Stampin'Up! website!

Stampin'Up! Little Lambs for MojoMonday!

MOJO 152

If you've got an anxious school child as I do, the Little Lambs stamp set is perfect for sending in a note of encouragement tucked in their lunch box. The Designer Series paper, Celebrations, goes great for any child's project with the bold coordinating colors of Pacific Point, Real Red, and Pear Pizzazz. These colors are just "happy" colors! Guaranteed to put a smile on your child's face.

This card is going to Michele, my 4th grader. She has got the start-of-school stomach aches. I wanted her to know that life may be overwhelming but, God's got BIG plans for her and really that is all that matters!

I hope you enjoyed today's project! Leave a message and let me know what you thought of today's busy card! If you have any questions about today's project or Stampin'Up! don't hesitate to contact me!

Have a great week!

God Bless,

Today's project highlights the new Baby Bundle stamp set in the new 2010 IB&C (Idea Book & Catalog) and the Square Lattice Embossing Folder

This adorable set has 16 stamps making it very versatile and full of possibilities! The entire set is just adorable. The colors I chose were Certainly Celery, Blushing Bride, Very Vanilla, and Chocolate Chip.

I used the Scallop Circle #2 to create the scallops for the baby carriage and sentiment. The images were inked in Early Espresso and colored in using Stampin' Write markers.

For the Mommy to Be!

In the stamping community, it is not uncommon to hear the phrase "too stinkin' cute". Well, is this "too stinkin' cute" or what??!!

I created this for the baby shower this weekend. I only had time to create one so, this project is all on the learning curve! Don't look too close! It was enjoyed by everyone but, by the end of the shower my wheels had collapsed. (Learning Curve ~ reinforce the wheels next time)

The instructions for this project came from Michelle over at Pink Paper Paradise. Michelle is from Australia and made a brave attempt at converting metric to US inches. You will need to check the conversion before you cut your materials as some of them are incorrect. Thanks Michelle for trying to accommodate us in "inches"!

The Sending Love Designer Series paper is retired but the Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose card stock are continuing in the "Color Renovation" coming out in the new 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog.

And speaking of the new catalog ~ preorder your 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog for $9.95 and I'll ship it out priority mailing as soon as it arrives (a $4.95 value). Contact me today to preorder yours!

Mini Note Purse and cards

My daughter is hosting a shower for her cousin tomorrow and of course I couldn't resist sticking my nose in! This cute little mini note purse holds fifteen 3x3 cards and envelopes.

Now you may not recognize some of the Stampin'Up! products here. The scallop is a new 2 3/8" Scallop Circle punch available in July and the images on the cards on 2 of 16 stamps in the new stamp set Baby Bundle. This is a cute, cute set!
This is the purse when it's open. You can find the instructions on 5inkyfingers blog.

I'm going to cut this post short. But I wanted to at least get the project up there for you to enjoy!
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.

Sweet Centers for Baby!

Sweet Centers Baby Invitation

Next week my daughter is hosting a baby shower for her cousin, shhhh it's a surprise. We created the invitations using the Sweet Centers stamp set. They are adorable!

The colors we combined were Pretty in Pink, Pink Passion (which is retiring the end of June), Chocolate Chip, and Whisper White. To make it easier to create the rattle, we punched the circle first and then stamped the rattle handle on another piece of Whisper White card stock. We then cut the rattle out and adhered it under the Sweet Treat cup with Stampin' Dimensionals. In the Sweet Treat cup we mixed M&M's with punches from the Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack.

Using the assembly line method we were able to turn out these in no time at all!

Hope you enjoyed today's project. Have a great weekend!

God Bless,

Wrapping 101 for a Baby Shower

Take any project in the Wrapping 101 pdf. Change the paper and/or stamps and use it to meet your needs. These are party favors I created for a customer's baby shower. She liked the "sour cream containers", the "nugget purses", the "lifesaver" holders and the "water bottle hangers".

The paper she chose was Stampin'Up!s Tall Tales Designer Series paper. The catalog tells me what the coordinating Stampin'Up! colors are. She chose 1 main color to use (rose red) and I pulled in the other colors as accent paper and ink. I used both sides of the Designer Series paper. I first thought it was going to be too busy with all the prints but the coordinating card stock pulled it all together. These are two of the sets. There are a total of 6 different sets.

The Wrapping 101 pdf has a total of 25 projects that you could easily change for any celebration or holiday. Each project has finished project photos, supply list, and detailed instructions to it.

Order your copy safely through Paypal (see the right sidebar) or contact me for other payment methods. Once I receive notification of payment I will email you the PDF.

Have a great weekend! No snow here but cold (69 degrees) and rainy!

Clear Envelope Brag Books

Even though so many pictures are on computers these days these little "Brag Books" are a great project and gift for those who still love to hold the pictures in their hands.
The clear envelopes sold by Stampin'Up! are used as the picture protectors. They can hold 3x5 or 4x6 pictures, back to back.
I did a brief video tutorial, based on the tutorial by Corinne Somerville over at Splitcoast Stampers, on making these books and hope to post it this week. Check back for more detailed instructions and the recipe.

God Bless,
