Got Green?

Another great sketch for Mojo Monday. I'm going to take advantage of it being St. Patrick's Day this week and enjoy using lots of my favorite color, green! Garden Green and Wild Wasabi make up my "green" pallet. The designer series paper is from Woodland Walk and the image is from the stamp set Got Treats. I added some Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds to give the shamrock some bling. I also colored the Rossettes with Garden Green and Wild Wasabi Stampin' Write Markers. The ribbon piece was created using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border.

Each month our team gets together locally for a bit of business and bunch of stamping. This month we will be meeting on Sunday at my home. We also meet this Thursday on Skype for those who can't meet locally. If you would like to join us for an opportunity to see what being a Stampin'Up! demonstrator is all about, contact me this week to attend.

Sale-a-bration is a perfect time to become a demonstrator.
  • When you join by March 31, you receive a 15% discount on your Starter Kit (Digital or Standard)
  • plus a $50 bonus package of Stampin'Up! products.

On a more personal basis, I am here to support you as you need me. It is my passion to help you set goals as a demonstrator and encourage you as you work towards them. I am available for you weekly in person or by phone, email, or Skype. I also plan monthly get to gethers locally at my home as well as on Skype for those who can't attend locally. How to Catch a Leprechaun

Next week my daughter's 4th grade class is going to build Leprechaun traps. I don't know much about Leprechaun catching, never having caught one before but, I think those "crafty" Leprechaun's would like these cute treat holders. If not, I know Michele's class will!

The purse was cut out of Certainly Celery card stock and 2 shamrocks from the Got Treats stamp set were stamped on Whisper White using Garden Green Classic ink. I adhered them to the purse front and ran each side through the Big Shot using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. It gives the layer an "in laid" look. The handle was created using my new favorite Stampin'Up! product, the Tasteful Trim Die. There are so many possibilities with this die!

The milk carton was cut from the Mini Milk Carton Die in Garden Green with the same inlaid embossing technique used.

Easy and fun treat holders to make for your St. Patrick's Day celebration. If you need help planning your child's classroom celebrations, contact me, I'm here to help!

I hope you enjoyed today's project! Have a great weekend and may the luck of the Irish be with you!!

God Bless,

"Erin Go Braugh" for PPA33

Pals Paper Arts went green for this week's challenge. Certainly Celery, Garden Green, & Kraft are the colors of the day!

The card base is Whisper White with a layer of Kraft card stock and 3 pieces of the Flock Together Designer Series paper. The Garden Green and Kraft ric rac were created using the Pinking Hearts punch available in the new Occasions Mini catalog. The shamrocks and vase were created using the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit and the new Small Heart punch also available in the Occasions Mini catalog. The stems were punched out of Garden Green card stock using the Two-Step Bird punch and the branches trimmed to make the stems. Finally, the phrase is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and stamped on Certainly Celery card stock using Garden Green ink. All combine to make a great St. Patrick's Day card!

Make sure to check out all the projects over at Pals Paper Arts!

If you would like to recreate this project on your own, please see the recipe below. If you need supplies contact me or order on-line at my Stampin'Up! website.
